If you own a car, you should have an emergency kit for it. You never know what can happen, and you definitely want to be prepared for anything. This kit has pretty much everything that you would need to get your car up and going, or take care of yourself if you were injured. It has everything from the reflective triangles that you put in the road, to a reflective vest, to an emergency blanket, work gloves, and even a whistle! Yes, a whistle. I have not had to use this kit myself, but simply having it in my car gives me a peace of mind knowing that if I were to break down or have another type of emergency, I would be able to take care of myself or anyone in my family while waiting for emergency workers to come. The price makes this a no-brainer. If you won't get it for yourself (which you should), get it as a gift for a friend or for family. I am sure they will appreciate it.

This was more than I had hoped for. I got this for my son who just started driving. I feel better knowing that he has the tools to be safe if he should ever need to use them.

I bought this a birthday present for my teen son to keep in his car. We went through all the things inside, talked about when/how to use and moved a few items to his glovebox. Its one of those things that you hope you never need to use but are soooooooo glad to have when you need it. Now I need one for my car.

This is a great kit for the price. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality. The first aid kit is only a few bandages, but everything else is great. I ended up buying a second kit for my mom's car as well.

I just gave this kit to a young man who got his own car for the first time this fall, and he loved it. He spent a long time going through it and checking every item. It's packed full of just about everything you could need in an emergency. My dad did give him some duct tape and a pliers to add, but otherwise agreed it's pretty complete. My mechanic and first responder brother and EMT sister-in-law agreed that the contents were good quality and that it has pretty much everything you could need. It would have been helpful to have instructions on the tire repair kit, but I'm sure Youtube will solve that problem if needed. For someone who travels in areas without phone service, you may want to find and print out instructions to keep with it, at least if they have little to no mechanical knowledge like this young man. Also, he will be removing the glass breaker tool from the kit (which will likely be kept in the trunk) and storing it in the center console, since it would need to be readily available and easy to reach in most situations where you would need it. Overall a great kit. I almost bought one made by AAA, but when I compared the contents this one was easily the winner.
