I bought this product, because in the following week I became sick and was having trouble breathing. So I wanted to monitor my oxygen levels, for myself, since doctors kept telling me, my oxygen levels were normal. I've attached three photos from three different days of use showing, the lowest and highest my oxygen levels got in the past week. First photo was taken on August 15th. Second photo was taken on August 17th. The third photo was taken at this very moment August 21, 2019.

I bought one of these before Covid hit because I occasionally felt a bit out of breath. It seemed to work fine. When Covid came around, I bought a second. Despite all precautions, my wife and I came down with Covid and she was ill enough to need hospitalization. I had been using this monitor to keep an eye on her, and when she started dipping below 90 I took her in. She happened to be wearing her Zacurate around her neck when she was admitted, so I had her compare her readings with what the hospital was saying. Each time she did this, the Zacurate exactly matched the reading the nurse showed. Every. Single. Time. Best purchase I made in 2020! Oh and she came through ok and is back home! Great product. Five stars.

I really like how easy it is to use and how accessible it is. One day my mom.... who has COPD looked a bit blue. I put it on her finger and her oxygen. Was 35. She would've passed away if I didn't have this pulse ox. I put her oxygen on and watched her pulse rate go up and up and I feel so thankful for this purchase. It is definitely worth the money. I'd recommend everyone who has respiratory issues to have one of these on hand.

I like the meter. It seems to be working okay. I just need to be a little patient while the readings stabilize. The first time I use it that day the reading comes as 94, but then in a little less then a minute it has stabilized at 98 to 99. I had called customer service to ask if this was normal and she said yes. She did suggest that I might rub my hands together before using it first time & I tried that today. It definitely helped.

As an aging retired critical care nurse, it seemed like a good idea to add this to my stash of home supplies, next to the thermometer and BP cuff. Arrived when promised and is clearly new. (After receiving not one but two separate ones from a different vendor that were clearly used, I checked that first.)Pulse oximeters by nature give numbers that vary slightly from heart beat to heart beat. Seeing something like 96, 94, 98, 96, 98, 95 is normal, even in hospital settings. It's just the way our bodies work - a slight variation heart beat to heart beat. Circulatory issues play a role too. If your hands are cold, all pulse ox devices will have a hard time getting a reading. There isn't a lot of blood in a pale, freezing cold finger for it to get a reading from. Ditto that for especially low blood pressure. Or those with fingernail polish - it can't see thru the polish. And position - sometimes you have to reposition them a few times on the same finger, or use a different finger. And long nails push it too far back on your finger. It's the same drill regardless of home devices or hospital ones.This one seems reasonably accurate, for the little bit I have used it so far. It is good for learning what my baseline numbers are on most days, so if I get sick (get real..... When, not if, I'm not immune to every disease known to man) I can tell how far off things are. It shows a strong pulse wave form (meaning there is enough circulation in my finger for it to get a reading), and easy to read heart rate and oxygen status.For the very reasonable cost, it seems like a useful tool. "Your mileage may vary " If it helps prevent even one unnecessary trip to urgent care or the ER, it's worth it to me. If it gets me to go to urgent care or the ER when I don't want to, it's also worth it. (Nurses are notoriously bad about going infor care, even when really really sick, lol......„) In all cases, if you get this gadget and are concerned about your readings, call your doctor. Neither google or reviews can actually take care of you.
