I give this five stars assuming everything is five out of five since it just sits there in the corner of my closet...exactly as it's suppose to...waiting for an emergency that I hope will never come. Best case scenario is I've completely wasted my money and it'll never be cracked open because the œbig one never comes while I'm alive. Worse case scenario is it tastes like crap when I finally sit with my family to eat for a brief moment in the dark because there's no electricity before finally heading back out to fight off hordes of zombies. The worst part of this œworse case scenario is that I won't be able to adjust my review down to 1 star since the cellphone network and internet will have been eradicated due to the nuclear explosion that knocked everything back to the Stone Age and started this zombie mess in the first place.

Hey Guy's,This is my 5th bucket if you did not realize or see me as a repeat customer! We have not used any of them yet, but if something happens that will require them, after the emergency I will sure to let you know.In these trying times, bad government decisions, and natural disasters everyone should be prepared, it could mean the difference between life and death for you or worse your family who is counting on you.Anyhow, as long as your selling them, I will be purchasing more over time.Thanks again, Tim

I was a little nervous after reading some other reviews about the shelf life of this product. I was very pleased to see that my product received still has 19 year, 10 months of shelf life. BEFORE opening the bucket, be aware that an open bucket will reduce shelf live to ONE YEAR. Also note that several of the meals within the bucket contain milk and soy. Allergy warning! I am pleased with the product and now can have peace of mind that my family will have food resources to see us through an emergency (still need to obtain fuel source for cooking the meals).

Although I have not opened this, if you do it will shorten the shelf life. It looks like a nice variety of foods and the price per serving is very low. I plan on having a few of these stored "just in case". Hopefully we will never actually need them. I would prefer to open these in 20 years and celebrate the progress made by our country and society in general. If I ever need these, they seem easy to prepare and there is a nice variety of meals. I doubt my kids would be very excited about eating these but it sure beats going hungry. If times get really bad, people will be roaming the streets looking for something to eat and would not hesitate to harm you to provide for their own family. Stock up, stay home and be safe.
