Afforable satellite communications

When combined with the app, this product provides seamless integration with typical modes of phone messaging. Brings peace of mind when out of cell range. Battery life is amazing when the ping frequency is reduced to 60 minutes. The app itself could be improved somewhat but is generally reliable.

It works as advertised and it's cool that you can 'pause' service for a very low fee. I used it OFTEN over a 7 day trip up the East Coast. Very intuitive app that worked every time I asked it to. Very reasonable service plan, easy to buy more time, and cool that you can pause it. I researched all of the competitors and am glad I went with this one.

Easy setup.

I have not used the Zoleo in the field yet. There is a misleading review that makes it sound like the device is difficult to setup. I had no issues the manual is easy to follow. Easy to do if you have basic computer skills.

Best value for the $$$$

The quality of the Zoleo unit is fantastic. I accidentally dropped it down a cliff and it still worked perfectly. I also like that it seamlessly searches out whether WiFi, or cellular is available to send the message. Zoleo offers high value for the price.

Good product

Great little product. I use it while I fly and the text messages work great. The battery life is real good. I use it in my plane when I'm flying. The only issue I have with it is that it can over heat. It need to have a clear view of the sky. The only place I can do that is on top of the instrument panel. That makes it get to too hot. I wish they would produce a mount where I can place on a window where it has a clear view of the sky but exposed to direct sunlight so it doesn't get so hot. If it gets too hot, it shuts off.
